You would think...

...that having an extra adult in the house over the weekend would help keep it clean.

But...

...that's never the case.

And believe me -

- you're only seeing a portion of it.

Welcome to my Monday mornings.

  2. I'm so there! (Not that we had an extra adult this weekend.) I really struggle with finding a balance between using that extra adult to get things done/cleaned, and between enjoying the time together....

  3. Amen! I notice that that extra adult actually causes more work somehow....I think its because hes more of a novelty so we soak up as much time as we can with him. I still hate it though!

  5. Couldn't have had anything to do with the few extra children in the picture could it? I like to give myself a free day from cleaning, whenever I can manage it ;) Hope your Monday's great!

  7. Now would probably NOT be the time to tell you how clean my house right now, huh. Dang. It is pretty clean!

  8. Yeah, why is that? Saturday is suppose to be cleaning day, but especially in the summer it's the opposite. It becomes the lawn mowing day. Saturday was depressing because I used Richard to hold Brianna all day to get cleaning and laundry done and by the end of an ENTIRE day of cleaning it still looked messy and I still had laundry waiting to be folded and put away. Never ending I tell you...never ending!

  9. So true!!! I tease Josh all the time that when he isn't home I always get so much more done. When he has days off (which right now is far few and in between) I am so useless! Love it!!
