McKenzie: Mom! Look at the picture I just drew!
Me: Wow - cool Kenz. Creepy Sleepy, huh? What does that mean?
McKenzie: Well, that's a baby sleeping in his crib...and these (pointing to the lines grouped in threes at the top of the crib) are the fingers of mean things coming to get the baby.
Please tell me all children go through a phase like this..........
The apple does not fall far from the tree does it? Cute and sweet looking on the outside, inside: horror movies, sky diving, death defying couch gymnastics....:)

ReplyDeleteOkay, I just read your happy thoughts and laughed about the Tarzan movie. Did you have a discussion about how Jane's skirt is not modest because of the slit that goes up the side, or is it a tear? That conversation with the boys still makes me laugh! Good times, good times!

ReplyDeleteHey Linds. What I'm impressed with is that she can draw so well and write so clearly! You have a genius daughter, you know that. But, that's no surprise with two genius parents. So, you don't have much longer until baby boy comes into this world. How exciting! I bet you're feeling pretty ready to be rid your tummy. :) Mom's getting excited to come over. ReplyDeleteI was going to comment on this days ago...but was speechless...I'd say check her "users manual" that was shrink wrapped to her at birth perhaps you'll find the answer there. I find I have to check my "user manuals" more than I like, but it their crazy ideas happen to us all the time too! So yes it's just a phase...I've heard! :)
