One of my Favorite Things About Being a Mom:

Finding random kids' stuff in odd places... upon further investigation, I found out that Cuddles was tired and needed a 'dark, quiet place to take a nap.'

What a fun thing to find as I was going about the mundane task of putting laundry away! :)

---------------

I must, unfortunately, supplement this with sharing one of the grossest things I've ever seen as a mom: Coming into the kitchen after taking a shower today and seeing that Carson had gotten into the fridge, and had devoured half of a RAW hamburger patty.
Maybe I should get one of those fridge locks...

  1. What a perfect place to put teddy! :) That is so cute! But what your son did is so not right. I think that I might of throwing up if one of my kids where to do that. Kids sure do keep you on your toes!

  2. That makes me laugh that teddy had to take a nap in a drawer. I'm surprised that she didn't use a washcloth as a pillow or a blanket like Katherine does. As far as Carson, I think I would be right along side Sarah and puking if I found my kids doing that. I'm sure that Carson was even looking at you like, "What are you freaking out about mom? It tastes pretty good. Here try some!" I think it's time to invest in a lock my friend. I just hope the poor guy doesn't get sick. Oh, by the way, what did you end up using your wine rack for?

  4. Your kids are adorable!! I'm glad you found my blog! I can't believe what world travelers you guys are! How do you guys get to do that? I'm so jealous! Where do you live in NC? What a gorgeous place - I would not even mind living there, except for that humidity. Love that dry, Utah air! Anyway, I look forward to keeping in touch!

  8. I like to nap in a dark, quite place to but not a huge fan of the raw meat. If you know what I mean! Kids will try almost anything.

You find the toys in the weirdest places. When I went to Minnesota with Erika for a funneral, Cory and Mackenzie hung out with Celena. My nephew was there with his wife and daughter. The two girls were playing with Mackenzie's princesses, when it was time for everyone to go home, they could not find the figures. The next day Celena opened her fridge, and in teh fridge were her two princesses. I started laughing.
