Maybe she'd let you visit our cockroach room in the garage (ha ha!) But really, your pictures are beautiful.Beckyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15114651470511807813noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19344949.post-72704349010565649772014-06-04T16:36:40.660-07:002014-06-04T16:36:40.660-07:00Yeah...except that I don't think I'm going...Yeah...except that I don't think I'm going back to Oahu. I am seduced by the shore snorkeling from Maui, and one day again I will be by the lava accessibility of the Big Island, but Oahu? Probably not.... But it was really amazing, and I can't imagine it with the sunset behind!!Cindyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13869834635154658664noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19344949.post-10532427089857770082014-06-04T06:46:13.402-07:002014-06-04T06:46:13.402-07:00I believe it! The major reason we went there that night was because the previous night, on our way to the wedding BBQ, we drove past and there was just a spectacular show going on. The waves, just like on your awesome day, were spraying high over the wall (though, not as many spectators, so maybe it wasn't quite so spectacular as yours!) AND the sunset behind it made the spray this fabulous pink/purple color. It was like nothing I'd ever seen before! We were late to the BBQ (and we were with the bride and groom) so we couldn't even slow down... I was sorry to see that, not only was the sunset quite blocked the next night, but the waves weren't quite so impressive either. Oh well. Gives me something to go back for, right? ;)Lindsayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01150657897645335754noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19344949.post-69300176006163775712014-06-03T21:20:23.617-07:002014-06-03T21:20:23.617-07:00(Testing whether or not your blog will let my tabl...(Testing whether or not your blog will let my tablet comment.) Remember when I told you that we went scuba diving at sharks cove and that that's where I first snorkeled! Well they had told us how lucky we were that it was calm enough there to scuba and that there was a storm coming in at the end of that week. We drove by there at night later that week and there were cars parked along both sides of the road. We got out to see what was happening and it was incredible. The waves that were crashing on that outer side of the cove were unbelievable, the were enormous. We stayed and watched for a long time it was so amazing. We went back the next morning so I could take pictures in the daylight but it wasn't nearly as amazing, we aimed the tide was out or something. That night it was seriously like a geyser.... Good memories!Cindyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13869834635154658664noreply@blogger.com
